International Implementation Achievements
On behalf of DOC, the Secretary of the Sanxing Township Office presented the Sanxing mascot, "Rocking Horse Rock", to Mr. Troy Tanner, the Deputy Chief of the International Bureau at Federal Communications Commission, USA.
1. On December 7, 2017
The Institute for Information Industry led a group of 20 international guests from 11 countries, and they were the participants of the "Workshop for Improving Asian-Pacific Broadband Coverage and Closing the Gap of Digital Technology," to visit the Sanxing Digital Opportunity Center (DOC) in Yilan County.
During the break, a trainee of the DOC Craftsmen, Shen Shui-Yun from VineVinegar, was invited to share her learning experience and to introduce her products.
At the end of the visit, the international guests took a group photo with the Sanxing DOC partners.
The guests visited the computer lab in the Sanxing DOC and acknowledged its comprehensive infrastructure.
2. On January 29, 2018
The Institute of Information Industry accompanied Dr. Thant, the Executive Director of the Daw Khin Kyi Foundation in Myanmar, to visit the Zhuangwei Digital Opportunity Center (DOC) in Yilan County.

The Executive Secretary Chang presented a community picture book to Dr. Thant as a token of friendship for his visit.
3. On April 24, 2018
The Vietnam delegation took a group photo with the Hsinchu and Miaoli DOC Counseling Team.
The 'Vietnam High RankOfficial Training Program: E-Government Program' conducted by Directorate-General of Personnel Administration, Executive Yuan took place in the DOC in Gongguan, Miaoli County, and the DOC shared their promotion results with guests.
Gongguan DOC new immigrant trainees shared their learning experiences.
Trainees' works from Gongguan featured course, "Visiting the Century-Old Stone-Wall Village": a Cultural History of Handmade Straw Sandals, were introduced.
"The Stories of the Stone-Wall Village": Village's 100th Anniversary DVD produced by the Gongguan DOC was presented to the Vietnam delegation.
The Vietnam delegation representatives visited the Gongguan DOC computer lab and interviewed trainees about their learning experiences.

4. On May 19, 2007
A “Bridging the Digital Divide” visit trip for international guests was organized. About 30 international participants of the ICDF (International Cooperation and Development Fund) International Workshop went to the Qigu DOC in Tainan County. The international guests were from the Dominican Republic, the Marshall Islands, Kingdom of Eswatini, Burkina Faso, Belize, Tuvalu, Saint Christopher and Nevis, Czech, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Colombia, Palau, Kiribati, Indonesia, Honduras, the Solomon Islands, Paraguay, Guatemala, Ecuador, Nauru, the Gambia, Sao Tome and Principe, Venezuela, Malawi, Fiji, Costa Rica, and El Salvador.
5. On November 16, 2007
A visit trip was organized for about 34 high rank officials of the Ministry of Education from 13 countries, including 5 ministers and 6 deputy ministers. They visited the Sanxia DOC in Taipei County to learn from our “Bridging the Digital Divide” implementation methods. Tu Cheng-Sheng, the Minister of Education, and Yang Cheng-Hong, the Director of the Computer Center, were also present.
